Drink the beverages, pop the pill capsules and wait for results. That’s basically the way Vfinity works. Shocking for an MLM right?
But what you may not know about Vfinity might change your mind about this nutrition company. Does this mean I’m involved?
This video explains everything:
Make sense? Either way, here’s 12 astonishing details you should know about Vfinity.
#12. Health and weight loss products based in probiotics and superfoods
Vfinity, like so many other direct sales companies, sell products that promote weight loss and maintain health. Vfinity’s product line includes…
- V1 Skinny Smoothie – a smoothie mix high in protein and fiber from quinoa as well as probiotics, it curbs appetite and promotes lean muscle
- V2 Skinny Greens – a detoxing and cleansing kit that’s packed with a whopping 72 herbs, extracts, and superfoods
- V3 MAX – a blend that boosts energy, decreases appetite, and improves mood
- VBiotic – a rejuvenating blend that activates beneficial bacteria in your digestive system and supports the absorption of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients
#11. 1-2-3 Lifestyle transformation system
The V1, V2, and V3 products are Vfinity’s signature products. They can be purchased separately, but they’re meant to be used together as part of Vfinity’s 1-2-3 lifestyle transformation system.
By combining meal replacement protein shakes, plant-based detoxing, and energizing products, Vfinity claims they offer the ultimate solution to easier weight loss and improved health and wellness.
That being said, their product line isn’t unlike that of many other nutrition MLMs. But it is certainly a combo that sells well.
#10. Only 2 years old
Having launched in 2014, this MLM is still learning how to walk. There’s a good chance they could fall over.
But, if you get in at the ground level and they do skyrocket, you’ve got a good chance of being one of the lucky few who actually make good money.
#9. Started by experts in customer care, marketing, and design
Unlike many MLMs, which are usually started by people who only have experience in MLM, Vfinity was started by a team with a little more diversity.
Most of Daniele Henderson’s background is in graphic and web design, and she’s now the Creative Director of the company.
Kenneth John, in charge of operations, is actually an MLMer with over a decade of experience in the field, but he’s also got a focus is on customer care. [1]
Lyndsey Larsen is a marketing and public relations whizz who acts as their senior copywriter.
In truth, this sounds like a really solid combination.
You’ve got someone with network marketing experience running operations, but he actually cares about the customer experience, something a lot of MLMs neglect. On top of that, you’ve got experienced people dedicated to both the design and marketing of the company, which are two of the most critical components of any new business in today’s age.
#8. Signature 90-day challenge
Like most weight loss companies (Advocare, Yoli), Vfinity has a popular weight loss challenge program that it promotes heavily.
Theirs is a 90-day challenge – longer than the usual 7, 10, or 30-day challenge, which is smart on their part, because it requires you to buy three months of product up-front. Their goal is probably to get customers on auto-ship through this. [2]
You purchase the Weight Loss Your Way program as well as any weight loss products you’d like to use throughout the 90 days. At the end of the 90 days, you submit your results along with an after photo, and you get a free “I Defeated the Vfinity Challenge” t-shirt.
Also a smart marketing move.
#7. Featured on Forbes Living
They may be young, but they’re pushing their way to the popular kids table in no time.
Vfinity was featured on a segment of Forbes Living’s “Weight Management” series, hosted by Forbes Riley, an award-winning TV host in the D2C industry. [3]
The program chose to feature Vfinity’s products due to the track record achieved with past customers.
#6. Tackling the growing obesity problem in America
Vfinity was also on E! Entertainment’s Modern Living with Kathy Ireland for a segment on the seriousness of America’s obesity epidemic.
As Ireland states, “Experts say that by the year 2030, over half of the world’s population will be obese and the cost of obesity is reaching over $2 trillion per year.” [4]
She interviews CEO and Founder of Vfinity, Alex Eliashevsky, on his plans to help solve this problem with Vfinity products.
Alex brings up the point that a lot of families can’t afford to eat healthy. Vfinity solves this problem because they offer healthy living products but also a way to make money selling them. [5]
#5. $136 for a month’s supply of V3 MAX
It’s hard to encounter their prices on their website, and there’s a reason for that.
Apparently a bottle of V3 MAX, their weight loss supplement, costs $68 for a 15-day supply.
I’m not sure how they’re going to solve the problem of the high cost of a healthy lifestyle with prices like that. Whole Foods might be insanely expensive, but you could get a decent supply of organic health food for the cost of a month’s worth of their supplement.
#4. 7 ways to earn
Vfinity offers the following seven ways to earn money as a distributor:
- Retail profit
- Fast start bonus
- Coded bonus
- Group commission
- Unilevel
- Rank advancement bonus
- Business builder pool bonus
This is a very standard structure for an MLM compensation plan. But what do the percentages look like?
#3. Retail commission information is undisclosed
Although Vfinity offers a grid on their website explaining their compensation plan, the document fails to offer any information on retail commission other than that it exists. [6]
So, YES, YES, YES, we offer retail profit!
But how much? 50%? 1%?
No mention of how much distributors can make off personal sales exists, which means it’s probably not much.
#2. 50PV required to qualify for commission
You only need 50PV in monthly volume to qualify for commission.
However, to bump up a rank and qualify for coded bonuses and group commission (aka, to make anything more than pennies), you need to have 220PV each month.
#1. 5-15% Unilevel commission
Depending on your level, you can make unilevel commissions up to five levels deep.
You get 15% on your first level, 10% on your second and third levels, and 5% on levels 4 and 5.
Despite the shadiness of the rest of the compensation plan, which really doesn’t explain enough, this is pretty good.
—
It all comes down to this question: are you in it for the products or for the money making opportunity?
If it’s for the products, go ahead, give it a shot and have some fun with it. Just don’t expect to quit your day job anytime soon.
If you like automated ways to build passive income, there are better ways.
(and you can trash those old MLM habits, too)
